Terms of Service
Who we are
Dayone is made and run by Per Arneng, a private person in Sweden (“we”). These terms are an agreement between you and us.
Using Dayone
Dayone helps you make and keep small promises to yourself. Use it for your own personal habits. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Your account
You can use Dayone on this phone without an account. If you sign in, you are responsible for keeping access to your Apple or Google account safe.
Subscriptions
Dayone needs a Dayone Pro subscription, monthly or yearly, and starts with a free trial. Prices and the length of the trial are shown before you pay. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account settings. These terms sit alongside Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Refunds
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves.
No medical advice
Dayone is not a medical, fitness or mental health service. Check with a professional before changing your health routines.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Dayone running and your data safe, but the app is provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we’re not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost data you didn’t back up, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for Dayone in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
Ending
You can stop using Dayone and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that misuses the service, for example by attacking or overloading it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protections of the consumer law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your own country’s courts.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app.
